What are your business hours?
We operate Monday to Friday and our hours vary based on demand. We will contact you after receiving your order to arrange a convenient pick-up time with you. Our office is closed on all statutory holidays. Please see our FAQ on shipping below in regards to rentals and orders that are to be shipped.
How do I contact you?
You can email us any time at Info@ScrapbookingRentals.com. Typically we are able to get back to you within 24 hours. If you prefer for us to call you back, feel free to email us your phone number through the MY ACCOUNT page.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, you can and we encourage our local clients to choose pick-up in order to save on postage. Your order will usually be ready for pick up the next business day after being placed. No extra charges apply for pick-up. We will email you in order to arrange a pick-up time that is convenient for you. Your order can be picked up at the following address: 573 Windjammer Way, Waterloo, Ontario.
Can you ship my order?
Yes, we ship orders nationally and internationally via Canada Post. You pay for all shipping, unless an item is returned due to product defects. Our flat-rate shipping and handling fees are as follows:
Canada CAD 10, USA CAD 15, International CAD 20.
When renting Cricut cartridges, you are responsible for paying the return postage.

When will my order ship?
The time of the day and the day of the week determine when the item will ship. Typically, your order will ship within the next 1-2 business days. However, if an item is out of stock or currently being rented, we reserve the right to ship within 10 business days.
All orders are shipped via Canada Post, ensuring that any parcels are insured and guaranteed.
Why should I create an account?
Creating an online account allows you to place purchase orders and allows us to keep you informed on your order's status. You'll also be able to email us through the system! In addition, setting up an online account makes ordering in the future easier because most of your account information is already on file.
How do I create an account?
Creating an account is easy. Click on "Create an account" at the top of the homepage and fill out our form. You'll have an account in no time! Once an account has been created, an email will be sent to you to confirm the registration and to ensure that you are the exclusive holder of that account. You can also choose to shop first and create an account when you're ready to checkout!
What kind of payment methods do you offer?
We accept PayPal payments and cash. Mastercard and Visa payments are also accepted via PayPal.
How does a Cricut® rental work?
We currently offer weekly rental of Cricut® machines (CAD 50/week) and cartridges (CAD 7/week). You can select a rental period that suits you best when placing your order. We currently have the rental period set from a Wednesday to a Wednesday. You can arrange for your pick-up and drop-off anytime within that one week period. Should you fail to pick up your rental, it will be made available in the store the next business day.
For machine rentals we expect you to return the machine and its accessories to us in the same condition as it was when you picked it up. The same holds true for cartridge rentals plus their overlays and booklets. When renting Cricut® cartridges, you will not be able to link them to your Cricut® Gypsy, as they are already linked to Scrapbooking Rental's Gypsy.
Please note: You will be charged for any damaged machines or cartridges, so we ask you to treat them with care. Thank you!
Can I rent Cricut® cartridges/machines together with my friends?
Yes you can! We have some clients that like to rent together with their scrapbooking friends and share the costs! Just one of you needs to create an account and go through the ordering process.
Is there a deposit for Cricut® rentals?
We do not apply a deposit towards Cricut® cartridge rentals. For machine rentals a credit card authorization will be initiated for the amount the machine is worth (CAD 400 for Cricut® Expression). Your card does not actually get charged with that amount, unless the machine gets damaged or lost. One you return the machine in good condition, the authorization gets removed immediately.
Can I extend my Cricut® rental period?
Yes, you can. Simply purchase another weekly rental online or even two or three weekly rentals if you would like to use the Cricut® machine or cartridges for a longer time. Upon completion of the purchase your rental period will automatically be extended.
How can I safely return Cricut® cartridges to you?
We recommend dropping them off (should you live in town) or mailing them back to us in a small bubble envelope!
What happens if I don’t return a rented item?
Please extend your rental period before it expires if you require any rental product for another week. If however the product is not returned to us as per your rental period, you will be charged the full suggested retail price for any unreturned item.
What if my rental product arrives defective?
All cartridges are tested before being shipped out. Please get in touch with us right away, send back your product and we'd be happy to send a replacement to you.
Why does my chosen rental item show up as "out of stock"?
Due to the overwhelming demand for our Cricut® machine and Cricut® cartridge rentals, you may find that your preferred rental shows up as "out of stock". Try another rental period - one or two weeks later - in order to see when the cartridge is available to you! Please be ensured, that we will add to our stock of machines and rentals as needed over the coming months, in order to ensure that the waiting list is kept to a minimum. When will you offer Cricut® workshops?
We are currently working on creating a Cricut workshop! If you are interested, email us and/or subscribe to our newsletter and we will add you to our list.
